Amanda
Amanda has been employed at Murray Animal Hospital since August 2003. She began working there as an Animal Caretaker while a student at Murray State University, and is currently working as a Client Coordinator. Amanda and her husband, Andrew, have a son named Devon, a dog named Murray, two cats and seven horses. She loves showing American Saddlebred horses, and riding her pleasure horse, Bud, who she has had for 12 years. She attended Murray State for three years and majored in Animal Health Technology. |

Anna
Anna is a Licensed Veterinary Technologist, and her primary position with Murray Animal Hospital is as a Surgery Nurse.
Anna graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelors of Science in Agriculture in May 2006 with an emphasis in Animal Health Technology. After graduating through the AHT program she accumulated a Licensing in Veterinary Technology. In December 2007 she graduated with a Masters of Science with an emphasis in Animal Science.
She started teaching full time in the area of Veterinary Sciences at Murray State University in the fall of 2008. Anna has an eleven year old dog named Max, and two one-year-old cats named Sunny and Shadow. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Anna also enjoys researching new and upcoming advancements in veterinary science. |

Ashley
Ashley is an Animal Caretaker and Client Coordinator at Murray Animal Hospital. She is also a full-time student at Murray State University majoring in pre-veterinary medicine.
Ashley is originally from Peoria, Illinois, and before moving to Murray, spent two years in Iowa. She loves traveling and spending time with her two dogs Jaya and Jezi and her cat D.K.

Barbara
Barbara has worked at Murray Animal Hospital for the past 8 years as a Client Coordinator.
She was a stay-at-home mom until all five of her children were out of school. She then took a job at an emergency veterinarian clinic, and 28 years later she is still working.
She and her husband Kenneth now live close to Kentucky Lake and enjoy fishing, gardening and their grandchildren.
After years of having many animals, (including dogs, cats, a pet lamb, two raccoons and horses) they have downsized to one cockatiel named CC. |

Beth
Beth is a Licensed Veterinary Technologist and has worked at Murray Animal Hospital since 2001.
She graduated with a BS in Animal Science from Murray State University in 1993. She is originally from Graves County, but worked in several different areas, including the Louisville Zoo, before returning to her old stomping grounds.
She lives with her boyfriend, Bob, and spends her free time spoiling her dog Shadow, raising pygmy goats, scrapbooking and taking photography.
Beth was voted "Tech of the Year" in 2002. |

Bobbie
Bobbie is the Office Manager for Murray Animal Hospital
During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, working on the farm with Dr. Canerdy and going to the lake. She has three dogs - a chocolate lab named Pete, a yellow lab named Kobie and a Golden Retriever puppy named Bella. She also has a cat named Storm and two horses, which she refers to as "yard art," named Kit and Tux.

Emily
Emily is a Client Coordinator and has worked at Murray Animal Hospital since graduating from Murray State University in 2006.
Emily graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. While attending MSU, she danced with the Racer Girls for five years.
She is from Murray, and has two dogs and a cat that keep her smiling! |

Megan
Megan is an Animal Caretaker at Murray Animal Hospital. She is a senior at Murray State University majoring in Pre-Veterinary Medicine, and plans to attend the University of Illinois Veterinary School. She is a member of the Pre-Vet Club and Clark Honors Society.
She is from Metropolis, Ill., and lives with her parents and older brother. She has one dog, a 5-year-old pug named Bo. She has also had birds, cats, hamsters, fish, turtles and a lizard.
She loves playing and listening to music and going to concerts and St. Louis Cardinals games. |

Michelle
Dr. Westerfeld is a 1994 graduate of Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture She is also a 1998 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a member of the Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Westerfeld has enjoyed practicing small and large animal medicine for the past 11 years, but is now dedicated to small animal medicine.
She has a son Matthew and husband Michael along with her 6 cats, 2 dogs, and 3 horses.
In her spare time she plays in the co-ed volleyball league at Westside Baptist Church, and enjoys riding her horses, and four-wheelers. |

Racheal
Racheal is a licensed Technologist, and has worked at MAH since September of 2006. Racheal graduated from Murray State University Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture.
She was born and raised in Murray, and now resides in Gilbertsville with her husband Jason. They have a furry baby named Miko who is a Schnorkie. They also have two calico cats named Ellie and Sprite.
Racheal spends her time riding motorcycles and boating on the lake. |

TeJay
TeJay is an Animal Care Taker at Murray Animal Hospital. She is majoring in pre-veterinary medicine with a minor in Equine Science. She is originally from Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
TeJay enjoys working with animals of all types, and hopes to one day work with exotic animals and horses. She enjoyes being outdoors and fishing. She loves her family, four dogs, three horses, and a fish. Out of all her animals, her cat is her favorite because she raised it from the time it was a day old.

Terry
Dr. Terry Canerdy graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, and opened Murray Animal Hospital in 1990. He is a full professor in the School of Agriculture and is the director of the Animal Health Technology Program at Murray State University.
He has 18 publications in related veterinary journals. He is also a member of the AVMA, KVMA, Murray Rotary Club, Association of Animal Technician Educators and the American Society of Veterinary Clinical Pathology.
During his free time, he enjoys his three dogs, cat, two horses and pet chickens and working on his farm. |
